Katelind and David’s wedding was a beautiful reflection of who they are as a couple; equal parts elegant, heartfelt, and playfully unique. From stunning design details to sweet, candid moments, their day was filled with love in every sense of the word.
From the very beginning, guests couldn’t stop talking about the venue. Its unique character created an unforgettable backdrop for the celebration, setting the tone for a wedding that felt both elevated and personal. Every detail was thoughtfully chosen, from the gorgeous florals and cohesive color palette to the little touches that made the day unmistakably them.
One of the most talked-about design elements? The rubber duckies. Such a fun, unexpected detail that added personality and charm throughout the space. Paired with more classic elements like the elegant cake and floral arrangements, the overall aesthetic struck the perfect balance between sophisticated and playful.
Guests also loved the audio guest book, which gave them a chance to leave heartfelt (and often hilarious) messages for the couple. It was an interactive touch that not only entertained guests, but created lasting memories Katelind and David will be able to revisit for years to come.
As the evening unfolded, one of the most unforgettable moments was the couple’s first dance. Set to live music performed by a close friend, who played piano and sang, the moment felt incredibly intimate and personal. The performance added a layer of warmth and emotion that filled the room, making it feel almost cinematic. Partway through, Katelind became overwhelmed with joy, tearing up as the significance of the moment truly sank in. David gently pulled her closer, kissing her on the forehead. A simple, tender gesture that perfectly captured the depth of their love and connection.
Throughout the day, their love showed up in the smallest moments too. From quietly practicing their first dance together beforehand to exchanging little reassurances, kisses, and whispers to calm each other’s nerves, Katelind and David brought such a sense of warmth and authenticity to every part of the celebration.
Dinner, dancing, and celebration followed, with guests fully embracing the energy of the night. Between the meaningful moments and the lighthearted details, it was a day that truly had it all.
Behind the Scenes: Teamwork, Flexibility & So Much Heart
Behind the scenes, the day ran smoothly thanks to strong communication and an incredible team effort. The O.M.Gee Events team worked closely together to ensure everything stayed on track, with Allie and Julia providing clear direction and support throughout the day.
There were a few small hiccups along the way, including a sushi delivery that ended up in the wrong location and a timing miscommunication with the museum’s closing hours. However, these were handled quickly and professionally, with Allie coordinating directly with the venue staff to keep everything aligned and stress-free for the couple.
What stood out most was the energy among the vendors. There was a genuine sense of camaraderie that felt less like a group of people who had just met and more like a team that had worked together for years. That level of collaboration made a huge difference in how smoothly the day unfolded.
Their wedding was the perfect reminder that when meaningful moments, thoughtful details, and a great team come together, something truly special is created.
Congratulations Katelind and David!
A Note from Katelind & David:
"From the moment they arrived at the hotel, Allie and her team removed all the stress of our wedding day. Even before the day-of, Allie made sure all the vendors and the venue had everything they needed and were working together smoothly without the need for us to even think about what there might be to worry over. Honestly, they made everything run so seamlessly, so thank you! Thank you! Thank you! We would highly recommend Allie and her team for your next event!"
