Eucalyptus and shimmering disco balls filled the ceiling, creating an enchanting contrast between natural beauty and retro glam. At the center of it all, a black and white checkered dance floor brought the space to life; bold, classic, and the perfect backdrop for endless movement and joy. Under the glow of the lights, the floor reflected every shimmer and smile, setting the stage for a night that no one wanted to end. Once the music started, it didn’t stop… Lia and Justus’s friends and family danced, sang, and celebrated long into the night.

And just when everyone thought the evening couldn’t get any better, a late-night pizza delivery and a surprise appearance from the Brotherly Love Ice Cream Truck kept spirits high and smiles wide. But the party didn’t stop there! After the reception, guests made their way to Middle Child in Philadelphia for the official afterparty. The energy carried straight through with late-night bites, laughter spilling into the early morning, and that undeniable feeling that no one wanted the celebration to end. Assistants Julia and Melanie worked throughout the day to bring the dancing space to life by thoughtfully arranging varying sizes of disco balls and weaving eucalyptus throughout to create that stunning, layered visual effect. Their attention to balance, height, and lighting made the space feel truly otherworldly once the music began.

Meanwhile, Allie focused on making sure Lia and Justus were exactly where they needed to be; calm, comfortable, and enjoying every moment. From coordinating the first look and organizing the ceremony setup, to overseeing the transition from ceremony to dinner and finally to the dance floor, Allie ensured the night stayed on schedule without ever feeling rushed.

Hosting a wedding in a creative, multi-purpose venue like the MAAS Building requires flexibility and coordination, and seeing it all come together so beautifully for such a wonderful couple was the most rewarding part of the day.
