From the moment guests arrived, one thing was immediately clear… The style was everything. From the couple themselves to their family and friends, everyone was dressed to the nines, creating a sophisticated and fashion-forward atmosphere that set the tone for the entire evening.

At the heart of the celebration were the deeply meaningful moments shared between Brett and William and their loved ones. Their words on marriage and equality were incredibly powerful, setting a tone that was both emotional and inspiring. Surrounded by a strong, supportive community of family and friends, the celebration felt like a true reflection of love in all its forms.

The design elements throughout the space added layers of intimacy and personality. A particularly meaningful feature was the memory display honoring loved ones who had passed, a beautiful reminder of the people who helped shape their journey. Guests were also invited into a unique, interactive “love note” space set in the boardroom, where they could leave messages in a variety of ways; from handwritten letters to recordings on an audio guest book, and even notes typed on a working vintage typewriter. Surrounded by warm candlelight, it became a cozy, reflective moment within the larger celebration.

The lounge space added another level of elevated design, featuring rich velvet seating and LED lamps that cast a soft, intimate glow across each table. Every detail felt intentional, creating an environment that was both luxurious and inviting.

The dance floor came alive, fueled by glowing accessories, vibrant lighting, and an infectious excitement from every guest in the room. With go-go dancers helping to kick things off, the celebration quickly took on full-on club vibes, a refreshing shift from traditional expectations and a perfect reflection of Brett and William’s style. It wasn’t just a party; it was an experience!

And just when it seemed like the night couldn’t get any more perfect, the rain cleared at just the right moment, allowing the couple to sneak away for rooftop photos at sunset. The result was a series of breathtaking, romantic moments that felt like the perfect pause in an otherwise high-energy evening.

Throughout it all, Brett and William remained exactly as they were from the start, joyful, excited, and completely present in every moment. Their happiness was undeniable, and it carried through every interaction, every toast, and every moment on the dance floor.

Behind the Scenes: Problem Solving, Teamwork & Keeping the Party Going

Behind the scenes, this celebration was a true testament to teamwork, flexibility, and quick thinking. With many moving parts throughout the day, the O.M.Gee Events team worked closely with the venue, florist, and DJ to ensure everything stayed on track.

There were a number of behind-the-scenes adjustments that guests never saw. From resetting linens to match the couple’s vision, to adapting the photo timeline when the photographer was stuck in traffic. By stepping in to help organize and call groups for photos, the team was able to keep everything running smoothly and on schedule.

Additional challenges, like a delayed photo booth setup and technical difficulties, were handled seamlessly by assistants Alyssa and Brantley, who ensured guests were informed and engaged, even helping incorporate photo booth prints into the guest book as the night went on.

At one point, quick action was even required mid-event to prevent the DJ’s car from being towed! Just one of many moments where behind-the-scenes coordination made all the difference. Throughout the night, the team remained attentive and proactive, ensuring both the couple and their guests could stay fully immersed in the celebration.

What stood out most was the level of communication across all vendors. With strong coordination and a shared commitment to the couple’s vision, every challenge was handled efficiently and professionally.
