Fiona and Max’s wedding at The Rodin Museum was the definition of timeless romance;  an intimate, thoughtfully curated day set against some of Philadelphia’s most iconic backdrops. With a guest count of just 50 of their closest family and friends, every moment felt intentional, personal, and deeply meaningful.

The day began in one of the most picturesque ways possible, with a first look in Rittenhouse Square. Surrounded by blooming spring greenery and classic city charm, Fiona and Max shared a quiet moment together before the celebrations began. From there, they continued through the city for portraits along the Parkway, capturing those quintessential Philadelphia moments that felt both cinematic and romantic.

Guests were welcomed into the Rodin Gardens for cocktail hour; the atmosphere felt like the perfect spring garden party. The florals, designed in soft seasonal tones, perfectly complemented the setting and brought a fresh, airy feel to the space. Thoughtful details elevated the experience even further, including O.M.Gee Events décor rentals such as a mirror welcome sign with a custom decal, elegant gold easel, custom table numbers with gold stands, and beautifully printed wedding programs handed to each guest upon arrival.

As the evening transitioned, guests gathered for the ceremony which was a moment that stood out for its quiet intimacy. Fiona and Max chose to exchange vows without the amplification of microphones, creating a deeply personal experience that felt almost as if time had paused. Their words were shared only with those closest to them, making the moment incredibly special and sincere.

Following the ceremony, the celebration moved inside the Rodin Museum for the reception. The space felt warm and inviting, filled with conversation, connection, and beautifully delivered toasts that the couple clearly cherished. Guests lingered at tables, laughed together, and fully embraced the slower, more intentional pace of the evening.

Throughout it all, Fiona and Max remained true to themselves. A bit shy, incredibly sweet, and so clearly in love. While there were moments of nerves, especially leading into the ceremony, their joy and excitement to be together always shined through.

Behind the Scenes: Flexibility, Teamwork & Thoughtful Coordination

Behind the scenes, the day was a true team effort, with O.M.Gee Events working closely alongside vendors to ensure everything ran smoothly. One of the biggest decisions came in real time, which was determining whether the ceremony would take place indoors or in the gardens. With weather conditions shifting, Allie led communication across all vendors, from the DJ adjusting setup to photographers confirming lighting and catering aligning timing. Ultimately, the decision was made to hold the ceremony outside at sunset, which was the perfect decision.

The team remained flexible and solution-oriented throughout the day. From coordinating trolley transportation, even calling them back to ensure no guests were left waiting, to managing timing across multiple locations, every detail was handled with care.

Assistants Melanie and Laura worked together to set up O.M.Gee décor rentals on-site, while the photographers played a key role in keeping the day on schedule, bringing a calm and supportive presence that helped the couple stay at ease. Even at the end of the night, when the efficient venue staff was clearing dishes, our team noticed the couple’s heirloom champagne flutes were about to be put with the rest of the dishes. We quickly removed the flutes and collected them to the side, waiting to be sent home with the rest of their decor. Quick thinking from O.M.Gee Events staff was pivotal in ensuring that all special heirlooms are well taken care of and accounted for.

What stood out most was the collaboration. Vendors noted how helpful and organized the coordination team was, and that sense of teamwork translated directly into a seamless guest experience.

Fiona and Max’s wedding was a beautiful reminder that sometimes the most meaningful celebrations are the most intimate ones. Where every detail is intentional, every moment is felt, and every guest truly shares in the love.

Congratulations Fiona and Max!

A Note from Fiona & Max,
“Allie is incredible! We weren’t sure if we needed a wedding planner but we absolutely did. Highly recommend O.M.Gee Events. Allie made me feel so comfortable and handled problems we didn’t even think about so that we didn’t have to (like making sure heirloom champagne flutes weren’t accidentally cleared away with the rest of our Venue’s dishes).”
