Courtney and Pat’s wedding day was nothing short of magical, filled with heartfelt moments, personal touches, and a whole lot of love.
Their ceremony took place at the stunning St. John the Baptist Church in Manayunk, where every detail added to the sense of timeless romance. From the moment Courtney walked down the aisle, it was clear that nothing else existed for the couple except each other. The way they looked at one another was pure, beautiful, and truly unforgettable.
Following the ceremony, the celebration continued at the Pump House in Bala Cynwyd. Courtney and Pat filled their reception with personal touches that made the evening even more memorable. During cocktail hour, guests teamed up to complete a giant crossword puzzle all about the newlyweds, a fun and interactive way to kick off the celebration. After dinner, the photo booth kept everyone entertained throughout the night, with guests bouncing between the dance floor and snapping pictures. All that activity worked up an appetite again, and thankfully, Courtney and Pat had the perfect dessert ready to satisfy every craving.
Instead of traditional favors, they offered guests a sweet treat, a table filled with homemade cookies baked by their family and friends, known as the Pittsburgh Cookie Table tradition. It was a beautiful (and delicious!) way to honor their roots and share a bit of home with everyone attending.
Guests also loved the unique guest book, a deck of playing cards where friends and family could leave notes and well wishes. Now, every time Courtney and Pat sit down for a card game, they’ll be reminded of all the love and support that surrounded them on their wedding day.
Behind the Scenes: Keeping the Day Moving Seamlessly
Behind the scenes, the O.M.Gee Events team was working hard to ensure everything ran perfectly. Allie’s assistant, Julia, took charge of the shuttle coordination for the day, managing the timing of transportation between the hotel, the church, and the reception. Thanks to her organization and quick thinking, guests and the bridal party arrived exactly where they needed to be, right on schedule.
Meanwhile, Allie was doing what she does best, making sure the entire day flowed smoothly. From making sure the florist were set up correctly to guiding guests throughout the venue, Allie handled all the details so Courtney and Pat could stay fully present and soak in every magical moment.
From start to finish, Courtney and Pat’s wedding was filled with laughter, sweetness, and memories that will last a lifetime. It was a true honor to be part of such a special and heartfelt celebration. Congratulations, Courtney and Pat!
A Note from Courtney and Pat
"When we stumbled upon Allie’s business card in our favorite local coffee shop, we had no idea we were finding a hidden gem. She and her team were absolutely incredible. Always patient, extremely organized, and solution oriented, they made sure our wedding went flawlessly. We, alongside our bridal party and family, cannot thank them enough. Always with a smile on her face and willing to help with anything Allie is amazing! She made our wedding planning and wedding weekend as stress free as possible, especially when we ran into some hiccups with one of our vendors the week before. Thank you again! We are forever grateful."
