Julia and Garrett’s wedding was a heartfelt celebration rooted in tradition, love, and connection. Set against the industrial charm of The Pump House in Bala Cynwyd, their day was filled with meaningful moments, emotional exchanges, and joyful celebrations that honored both their love story and the people who brought them to this moment.
Following the ceremony, guests were welcomed into cocktail hour where a standout favorite quickly stole the show… sushi! The unique and crowd-pleasing spread was a huge hit and set a fun, modern tone for the evening as guests mingled and celebrated.
As guests entered the reception space, the excitement continued. One detail that quickly became a guest favorite was the Polaroid guest book station rented from O.M.Gee Events. Friends and family snapped candid photos throughout the night, leaving handwritten notes alongside each snapshot for Julia and Garrett. The result was a guest book filled with personality, laughter, and unforgettable memories; quickly becoming a keepsake the couple will cherish long after the celebration ended.
The atmosphere remained warm, inviting, and ready for a night of celebration. The couple’s first dance was absolutely beautiful. Showing emotional and elegant moments, it was a true reflection of Julia and Garrett’s connection.
Dinner was served family-style, encouraging guests to relax, share, and enjoy time together around the table. Once dinner wrapped up, the dance floor quickly filled and stayed that way, with the newlyweds and their loved ones dancing the night away.
And when the reception came to an end, the celebration was far from over! The party continued at Bar Jawn in Philadelphia, where guests kept the energy going and wrapped up the night in true celebratory fashion.
Behind the Scenes: Flipping the Space for the Celebration
Behind the scenes, the O.M.Gee Events team worked closely with The Pump House staff to ensure every transition was seamless, even starting before the wedding day itself. With colder weather and rain in the forecast, we coordinated with the venue the day prior to proactively move the ceremony indoors, prioritizing guest comfort while preserving the couple’s vision. A huge shoutout to the Pump House’s incredible venue coordinator, whose collaboration and flexibility helped make the entire process smooth and stress-free.
On the wedding day, that same teamwork continued as the O.M.Gee Events team partnered with the Pump House staff to flip the stage from ceremony to reception. With efficiency, communication, and careful coordination, the transformation was seamless and allowed the evening to flow effortlessly from one moment to the next.
Julia and Garrett’s wedding was filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments from start to finish. We were honored to be part of such an incredible day!
Congratulations, Julia and Garrett!
A note from Julia and Garrett:
"By far the best decision was to hire a day of coordinator and Allie Gee and her team were so great! They were incredibly supportive and professional, helped make our big day and the week leading up to it go smoothly so that we could be fully present and enjoy our night!"
