Allie Gee (she/her)
Owner, Planner & Coordinator
My path to becoming an Event Planner has been anything but linear. I was a competitive dancer throughout my childhood and continued on to pursue a career in dance. I attended The Boston Conservatory where I received my BFA in Dance Performance. After graduation, I moved to New York City to begin my professional dance career. After 2 years, an amazing opportunity to dance full time in Mexico City presented itself and I leapt at the chance to travel and explore a new country while pursuing my passion. After living in Mexico for a year, I found myself back on the east coast, living happily in Philadelphia with my partner, now spouse. I began teaching dance and have been doing so now for 10 years. Teaching has provided me with a wealth of experience and knowledge that I will cherish and continue to utilize in all that I do.
As I started to slow down and perform less, I realized I needed a career shift. Through this exploration I discovered the IAP Career College and completed their Event Planning Certification so that I could dive into the world of wedding planning and coordinating.

When I look back on my experiences, I know that I was always meant to be a planner. From running the neighborhood talent shows as a kid, to starting networking meet-ups for local creatives; planning has always been a part of my life. Through the experience of planning my own wedding during a pandemic, I found the inspiration for O.M.Gee Events. Our wedding day was not what we originally planned but ended up being perfect for my partner & me. I can't wait to help you create the perfect wedding for you & yours as well!
